About Me

Kati Kendrick, MS, OTR/L is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with 14 years of experience. With a focus on holistic, neuro-affirming, client centered care, Kati strives to empower children and families to achieve their fullest potential.

Kati earned her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir Rhyne University and undergraduate degree in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

Kati has worked with a wide range of clients, including those with Autistic Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, feeding difficulties, ARFID, Down Syndrome, dysgraphia, & developmental delays. She enjoys working with clients from 2 years old to young adulthood. She believes in the power of collaboration and enjoys working closely with families and their team of providers to ensure long-term success.
Kati has a certification in the SOS Approach to Feeding and uses a blended approach to feeding intervention, including education from the Get Permission Approach, Feeding Matters, and oral motor interventions. She has completed many continuing education courses including Kelly Mahler’s Interoceptive Awareness Curriculum, Learning Without Tears (formerly Handwriting Without Tears), Therapeutic Listening, and more.

When Kati isn’t working with families, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring the Charlotte food scene, building Legos, shopping, gardening, and traveling.
