College Student Evaluations for Learning Disabilities

Many colleges and universities require updated evaluations or psychological reports in order to provide accommodations for students with disabilities, particularly learning disabilities such as dysgraphia, dyslexia as well as attention disorders. Typically, colleges/universities require an evaluation to be conducted and documented within the last 3-5 years. In addition, college students desiring to apply for graduate school are required to take graduate level entrance exams that require an updated evaluation.

At Child and Family Development, we offer psychological-educational evaluations and re-evaluations for college-aged students. This may include individuals currently enrolled in college or considering college placement. In addition, the evalaution includes a battery of assessments as well as educational consultation with parents and students to ensure they are equipped with all the resources they need.

Often times summer break is a great time to complete this type of evaluation.
