- 6-12 MONTHS: let your kids handle books, even mouthing and sitting upon is just fine!
- 1-2 YEARS: allow kids to hold, turn pages and point to pictures
- 2-3 YEARS: read favorites routinely, encourage them to “read” along with you and answer questions
