About Me
Sophia is a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist with fresh ideas as a new clinician, fully board certified and licensed since August 2025. With a focus on relationship-based, child-led, neurodiversity-affirming treatment approaches, Sophia strives to empower children and families to achieve their fullest potential.
Sophia earned her degree in occupational therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina and holds certifications in Powerfully You: Self-Regulation Emotional Learning Curriculum, with the goal of earning a certification in DIR/Floortime approach to therapy. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
Sophia has worked with a wide range of clients, including those with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia/dysgraphia, and other developmental delays, and takes a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy. She believes in the power of collaboration and enjoys working closely with families and other care-team members to ensure long-term success.

When Sophia isn’t working with families, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking lots of treats, taking advantage of any opportunity to hear live music, and planning her next trip to the beach! She is also passionate about increasing inclusivity efforts across the lifespan and welcoming neurodiversity into our society with open arms.
