About Me
Melanie is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician in our Midtown office who loves helping children of all ages grow, learn, and feel confident in themselves. With five years working with children and families across a variety of educational and therapeutic settings, she has experience guiding both younger children and adolescents, always tailoring her approach to each child’s unique personality and strengths.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Western Carolina University and received her RBT credential in 2025 through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. Whether she’s using play-based strategies, supporting social-emotional growth, or collaborating with families, Melanie focuses on creating an environment where every child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to thrive.
She has worked with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, dyslexia, and neurotypical kids, taking a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy. Being fluent in Spanish, she enjoys connecting with children and families in ways that making learning natural and fun. She believes the best outcomes come when families and therapists work together towards shared goals.

When Melanie isn’t working with our families, she enjoys spending time with her partner Peter, her family, and friends, playing with her cats Cesar and Cleo, going on walks, attending concerts, exploring space, and traveling to new places. She is also passionate about mental health advocacy, animal welfare, and human rights.
