About Me
Mary is a warm, dedicated, and compassionate mental health counselor who specializes in working with pediatrics and adolescents. She brings an individualized, relationship-centered approach to therapy and enjoys helping children, teens, and their families feel supported, understood, and empowered. Mary integrates a variety of evidence-based and creative approaches—including expressive arts techniques, play therapy, CBT, DBT, and Polyvagal-informed interventions—to meet each client’s unique needs and help them build resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Mary earned their degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to thrive.
Mary has worked with a wide range of clients, including those with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, and Depression, and takes a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy. She believes in the power of collaboration and enjoys working closely with families to ensure long-term success.

Outside of the counseling space, Mary enjoys spending time at the Whitewater Center, getting lost in a good book, watching reality TV, playing video games, and making meaningful memories with friends and family. These interests help her stay grounded, creative, and connected qualities she also brings into her work with clients.
