About Me

Marion is a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist with over 35 years of experience in pediatric Occupational Therapy. With a focus on looking at the whole child, Marion strives to empower children and families to achieve their fullest potential.

Marion earned her degree in occupational therapy from Western Michigan University and holds certifications in Neuro Developmental Treatment, which distinguishes itself from traditional therapy approaches through an integrated method that draws from children’s strengths while combining functional and impairment specific interventions. Additional advanced training includes feeding (SOS approach), sensory processing, handwriting, TASES (Task Specific Electrical Stimulation) and Cranio-Sacral Therapy. She is deeply committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

Marion has worked with a wide range of clients, including those with neuromotor disorders, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays and genetic syndromes. Marion takes a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy. She believes in the power of collaboration and enjoys working closely with families and other caregivers to ensure long-term success.

Specializations & Interests:
• Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT) –She is the only OT in the Charlotte area who is certified in NDT Treatment for pediatrics
• Task Specific Electrical Stimulation (TASES)
• Exploring an intensive model of treatment to focus on specific functional goals over a short period of time

When Marion isn’t working with families, she enjoys traveling, reading, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
