About Me
Dr. Lindsey Pallas is a warm and approachable Licensed Psychologist who provides comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations as well as therapy services for children and adolescents. She approaches each child’s mental health from a biopsychosocial perspective and predominantly works through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens, helping children understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Dr. Pallas recognizes that development is shaped by the complex interaction of biological factors, emotional experiences, relationships, learning environments, and broader life contexts, and believes that truly understanding a child requires looking at the whole picture. Her goal is to equip children with the insight and skills needed to confidently navigate their environments and overcome barriers that may interfere with their growth and well-being.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Mercer University. Her predoctoral internship was completed at Frontier Health in Johnson City, Tennessee, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at Child and Family Development. In addition, she holds a certificate in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her professional philosophy is grounded in the idea that psychology functions like a three-legged chair: meaningful care rests on the integration of evidence-based research, clinical expertise, and the values and preferences of the child and family. By thoughtfully balancing these three elements, she ensures that recommendations are both scientifically sound and personally meaningful.
With experience supporting youth with ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum differences, executive functioning challenges, emotional regulation needs, and trauma-related concerns, Dr. Pallas understands that progress is strongest when care is collaborative. She partners closely with parents and caregivers and values working alongside the other members of a child’s world, including teachers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and medical providers to ensure care is comprehensive and aligned.

Outside of Work
Outside of her professional role, she enjoys exercising — swimming, biking, and running (not triathlon status… yet!) — diving into great books on her Kindle, and spending time with her family and dog. She is passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and believes deeply in leading with kindness in both her personal and professional life.
