About Me

Julie is an Educational Specialist with more than 25 years of experience in teaching, educational leadership, and individualized student support. She provides comprehensive educational evaluations and evidence-based instruction designed to help children build skills, confidence, and independence in their learning.

Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education (K-12) from UNC Charlotte and her Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision (K-12) from Marymount University. She holds North Carolina Teaching Licensure and brings experience across preschool through high school settings, including general education, special education, gifted education, program leadership, and school administration.

Julie works with children and adolescents with diverse learning profiles, including specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia; intellectual disabilities; learning challenges associated with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and executive functioning. She uses a personalized and multisensory approach, partnering with families to develop holistic plans that foster each child’s academic growth and overall development.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Julie enjoys time with family and friends, whether she is exploring a new place, working in her garden, or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen. She especially values the simple moments that bring people together.
