About Me

Jada Brown-Wingate is a South Carolina native who has been practicing as a physical therapist since 2020 with an emphasis on the pediatric population beginning in 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at the College of Charleston in SC and later went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Jada has experience working with a variety of clients with a wide range of needs and abilities that include, but are not limited to, gross motor/developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, torticollis, various genetic syndromes, orthopedic injuries, amputations, neuromuscular conditions and many more. She loves bringing a fun and creative spin to her treatment sessions to make her time with clients enjoyable and productive. Jada is passionate about supporting infants and younger clients with building foundational gross motor skills to assist with overall development.

She is passionate about creating an individualized yet fun treatment program for her clients that promote home carryover for daily functional activities. Jada takes pride in assisting her clients with building confidence, gaining new skills and improving their independence with daily routines.

Outside of Work

Jada enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends and exploring Charlotte, NC! She is able to maintain a work-life balance by staying passionate about reading, taking walks, staying active, traveling and learning new recipes in her spare time! She believes the key to a happy life is doing something that fulfills you both in your career and in your personal life.
