About Me
Greg is an energetic, creative, and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who works collaboratively with children and adolescents as they navigate emotional, behavioral, developmental, and life concerns. He strives to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered to pursue meaningful change. His counseling style is grounded in person-centered care and draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.
Greg earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wingate University and his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from UNC Charlotte in 2024. He became a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in May 2026. He has also been a Nationally Certified Counselor since 2024. With over a year of counseling experience, Greg’s previous clinical roles were based on college campuses, where he supported college-aged students. A significant portion of this work involved helping individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, as well as those managing ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, academic stress, relationships, career decisions, and life transitions. In his current counseling role, Greg works with children and adolescents and adapts his approach to their developmental needs and individual goals.
Greg also has 8 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis and has been credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board since 2018. He has delivered ABA services in homes, clinics, and preschool settings, primarily supporting young children with autism spectrum disorder. His ABA background has strengthened his understanding of behavior, skill development, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and individualized support. He integrates these strengths into his counseling work while maintaining a collaborative, client-centered approach that honors each person’s experiences, values, and goals.
