About Me

Emily is an energetic and thoughtful Occupational Therapist in practice since 2024. Through working in various settings, Emily has developed a passion for working with a variety of pediatric patients and families and strives to empower children and families to achieve their fullest potential.
Emily earned a degree in Psychology from North Carolina State University and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to thrive.

Emily has worked with a wide range of clients, including those with ADHD, neurological impairment and Sensory Processing, Executive Functioning, Emotional Regulation and developmental delays and takes a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy. She believes in the power of inter-professional collaboration and enjoys working closely with families to ensure long-term success.

Outside of Work

When Emily isn’t working with families, she enjoys playing with her dog Boudin, looking for shark teeth at the beaches in Charleston, antiquing, cooking and baking. She is also passionate about mental health advocacy and neurodivergent affirming therapy.
