About Me
Ellie is dedicated to helping children build the communication skills they need to thrive at home, school, and within their communities. She aims to provide evidence-based and client-centered therapy tailored to each child's unique strengths, needs, and goals. Her approach emphasizes fostering confidence, meaningful communication, and functional success across everyday environments.
Ellie earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University and her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has experience working in outpatient, medical, and school-based settings. She enjoys working with a wide range of populations, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, and congenital disorders. She works with clients to support language disorders, literacy development, articulation and phonological disorders, feeding and swallowing disorders, fluency disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and pragmatic language or social communication challenges.
Ellie values collaboration with families, educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to promote meaningful progress across all settings. She utilizes child-led and neurodiversity-affirming approaches in her treatment and is committed to meeting clients where they are to create positive and fun therapy experiences!

When Ellie isn’t working with her clients, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cheering on the tar heels!
