About Me

Eleanor is an energetic and dedicated occupational therapist located full-time in our Midtown office. She has been practicing in the Charlotte area since 2021 and joined our C&FD team in 2022. With a commitment to evidence-based intervention, Eleanor blends research with play-based activities to help clients meet their goals. Eleanor utilizes a strengths-based approach during evaluation and treatment and focuses on using each child’s strengths to support motivation and development.

Eleanor earned her college degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and her MSOT from East Carolina University. She first learned to love working in pediatrics during her clinical rotation at Levine Children’s Hospital. She remains committed to using a multidisciplinary treatment approach to ensure goals are met across all community settings.

Eleanor currently works with a wide range of clients, including but not limited to, Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, Cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, pediatric feeding disorders, sensory processing disorder, and emotional regulation/self-regulation difficulties. Eleanor enjoys keeping a variety of presentations, diagnoses, and age-range of clients on her schedule.

Experience

Outside of Work

Eleanor stays busy with book club, needlepoint, hanging out with her friends, going out to eat with her husband, and snuggling with her 140 lb. Great Dane, Luna! She enjoys balancing her hard work with a mix of exercising, relaxing and watching sports – Go Tarheels!
