About Me

Carlee finds joy in her work as a speech-language pathologist, with 3 years of experience working with adult and pediatric populations in skilled nursing and outpatient settings. With a focus on child-led, naturalistic, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches, she strives to create an environment where recognition of each child’s unique skillset and interests and connection are pivotal to their development.

She earned a master’s degree of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University (Bloomington), and bachelors’ degrees of Communication Sciences & Disorders and Spanish from Eastern Michigan University. She participates in multidisciplinary evaluations alongside psychology as the speech-language evaluator in the young-ASD population and provides speech therapy services in both Spanish and English.

Carlee enjoys working with a variety of client populations, including those from birth to 21 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, brain injury, congenital abnormalities, language disorders and delays, phonological/articulation disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) users, feeding and swallowing disorders (2 years and older), stuttering, and pragmatic language/social communication disorders.

Outside of Work

When Carlee is outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family, spoiling her cats, traveling, and picking up new hobbies on a monthly basis.
