About Me

Amanda, a Charlotte native, is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist who has been with Child and Family Development since 2024. She earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from Anderson University before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Amanda’s approach is to maximize function through play and help children and families reach personalized goals that are important to them.

Amanda has worked with a wide range of clients, including those with developmental delays, torticollis, coordination disorders, neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic injuries, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and takes a holistic, family-centered approach to therapy. She believes in the power of collaboration and enjoys working closely with families and other clinicians to ensure long-term success.

Outside of Work

When Amanda isn’t working with families in the clinic and pool, she can be found exploring local coffee shops around Charlotte. She also enjoys spending time thrifting and searching for good antique finds! Amanda loves a good book, but mainly audiobooks during a fun road tip to visit friends in new cities. She is active in her church community and loves her monthly supper club with her friends.
