Occupational therapist recommends sensory diet resources

Rebecca Case, MS OTR/L, occupational therapist at the Pineville office of Child and Family Development, found a great resource for home sensory diet programs, often recommended by pediatric therapists. The tools are on Understood.org and can be accessed here. The tools include:

  • Sensory activities
  • Tracking worksheet

Rebecca likes these tools because they encourage families and providers to track days and times of events, identify trends in sensitivities and responses to activities.
