North Carolina is currently offering 2 grants for private school tuition for students in North Carolina.
One is the Opportunity Scholarship Grant which includes a grant up to $4200 per year and the other is the Children with Disabilities Scholarship Grant that includes a grant up to $3000 per semester. In order to be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship Grant a student must live in a household that is eligible for the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch program. In addition, the student must be enrolled in public school full time in the spring of 2014. There are several requirements for the Children with Disabilities Scholarship Grant which are outlined on the State Education Assistance Authority website.
