Courtney Stanley, occupational therapist, celebrates 7 years at C&FD

Happy C&FD Anniversary to Courtney Stanley

Courtney Stanley MS OTR/L is an occupational therapist at the Pineville office. She is celebrating years (lucky us!) at Child and Family Development this month.   

Over the years, Courtney has acquired experience in many specialty areas, including but not limited to: The ALERT Program, Handwriting Without Tears¬Æ, Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding‚Ñ¢ (SOS), Therapeutic Listening¬Æ and Zones of Regulation¬Æ.

Her special interests are autism, sensory processing disorder, feeding difficulties, motor planning difficulties, handwriting difficulties and visual motor and visual perceptual skills development. Her play-based, child-centered approach is evident in occupational therapy sessions with an effective combination of sweet support and specific encouragement.

I love sharing clients with Ms. Courtney. She is great at making therapy fun and functional for our kids and is always open to lending an ear and her insight during case coordination.
