Cogmed Working Memory Training is an evidence-based program that helps children, adolescents and adults sustainably improve attention by training their working memory.  The program is based on strong scientific research and is delivered under the supervision of one of the few Qualified Practitioneres in the Charlotte area, Dr. Joy Granetz.  

The complete program includes:

  • Initial interview
  • Start-up session
  • 25 training sessions (30-45 minutes) over 5 weeks with weekly coach calls
  • Wrap-up meeting
  • 6-month follow-up interview
  • Access to Cogmed Training Web
  • Cogmed Extension Training (6 months)

The software adjusts the complexity level for each exercise, in real time, for maximized training effect.  It can be done from the convenience of your own computer.  

The user/family sets the training schedule, with plenty of flexibility. You are supported by Dr. Granetz who leads the training, tracks results and gives support and motivation.
