Pending Groups
All groups are scheduled and based on participant interest.
Autism Social Skills Group: This training for individuals with autism is designed to develop and improve communication and interaction skills with others. Our groups are open to kids of all ages and abilities, and will be arranged based on those factors. Participant groupings and each curriculum is customized. The groups offer instruction in age-appropriate interaction skills, role-playing, and a chance to practice newly learned skills in a safe and supportive environment. Research indicates that children with autism spectrum disorders can carryover social skills into the ‘real world’ when they have practice in the group setting. If you are interested in learning more about availability, please contact Carol Capehart, Psychologist at ccapehart@childandfamilydevelopment.com

First Strokes Handwriting Class: This is a multi-sensory approach to teaching children pre-writing and handwriting skills. If you are interested in learning more about this class, please contact Cheryl Wigley, OTR/L at cwigley@childandfamilydevelopment.com
