Sherry Launt, LPT and MPH, is one of the founding partners in 1980 and is the sole owner of Child & Family Development. Sherry received a B.S. in physical therapy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1968) and a Master’s in Public Health (1978). Prior to starting C&FD, she worked in Charlotte for many years as the acting clinical director of the Mecklenburg County Carlton Watkins Center and chief of physical therapy at Presbyterian Hospital. Now, she is retired, but remains active in fulfilling the mission of Child & Family Development.

Pam Jones, M.B.A., is the President of Child & Family Development. She received a B.A. degree in Psychology and Social Work from Elon College in 1991. She worked in the pediatric department at Georgetown University Hospital before joining Child & Family Development in 1994. Pam received an MBA from Queens College in 1998. She is responsible for a multitude of business functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, information/ communication systems, management of administrative and clinical functions, and all contract negotiations. Susie Crain, M.S., CCC-SLP, is the Vice President of Clinical Operations of Child & Family Development. After completing  undergraduate work at Texas A&M University, she received a Master’s degree from University of Texas at Dallas-Callier Center for Communication Disorders in 1995. She joined the C&FD team in 1999 and has served in this role for more than 10 years.  She manages the therapy services, including quality assurance, case coordination and staffing.  Susie can be reached at 704.332.4834, extension 111.
